Hi folks,
So, I was messing around with an AI photo enhancer the other day, trying to clean up some old vacation pictures. At first, I was impressed—the colors popped, the details were sharper, and everything looked high-quality. But the more I looked at it, the more I realized something was off. The enhancements made the image look almost too perfect, like it had lost its natural feel. Have any of you experienced this? Does AI sometimes overdo it when trying to enhance photo quality?

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too! AI can be great for improving image quality, but sometimes it makes everything look too smooth or even cartoonish. I’ve used SnapEdit a few times to restore some old pictures, and while it definitely made them clearer, I had to be careful with the settings to keep them looking realistic. I think the key is to balance the AI enhancements with manual adjustments—otherwise, the photo starts to look unnatural. Did you try adjusting the settings, or was it just an automatic process?

I think it depends on the type of photo. AI enhancement is amazing for things like landscapes, but when it comes to faces, it sometimes makes people look like they’re from a video game. I guess AI still has a long way to go in understanding the finer details of human features. That being said, it’s crazy how much it can improve blurry or low-light images in just a few seconds.
