motorized lifting mechanism using linear actuators

Hi folks,

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about converting my regular standing desk into an automated one. I’ve got a basic IKEA sit/stand desk frame, but I’m tired of manually adjusting it. I’d like to add some sort of motorized lifting mechanism using linear actuators. Has anyone here actually done this kind of DIY upgrade? I’m mainly wondering about which actuators would work best for a two-leg setup and how hard it is to integrate a control system?
