Hi folks,
I have an old laptop, I want to edit a home video for a gift, but the new version of Adobe Premiere won't start at all. It just freezes on startup. I used to work on CS6 - it ran even on this hardware. Officially, they don't give it away. Is it possible to find a version somewhere that won't break my computer?

If your laptop handled Premiere Pro CS6 well, you might want to look for older or lightweight alternatives rather than forcing the latest version, which is much heavier on system resources. Sometimes older licensed installers can still be obtained from trusted resellers or through legitimate archives, but it’s important to avoid cracked or unsafe builds that could harm your system. You could also check tools and resources at idtsoftware, as they sometimes list compatible software options or downloads that work better on older hardware without overloading it.
